Trade'Em Up Expo Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: [August 1st, 2026]

At Trade'Em Up Expo, we dedicate significant time and resources to planning each event, including venue reservations, staffing, security, equipment, entertainment, and event operations. Because these commitments are made well in advance, all purchases are subject to the following policy.

All Sales Are Final

All purchases made through Trade'Em Up Expo are final.

This includes, but is not limited to:

General Admission Badges
VIP Badges
Weekend Passes
Single-Day Badges
Vendor Tables
Premium Corner Booths
Wall Booths
Sponsorship Packages
Artist Alley Spaces
Add-On Badges
Merchandise
Parking (if applicable)
After Party Tickets
Tournament Entry Fees
Workshop Registrations
Any additional event-related purchases

No refunds, exchanges, credits, or cancellations will be issued except where required by applicable law or as expressly stated in this policy.

Vendor Tables & Booths

Vendor table and booth purchases are:

Non-refundable
Non-transferable
Non-resellable without written approval from Trade'Em Up Expo

Failure to attend the event does not entitle the purchaser to a refund or future event credit.

Returning vendors may receive priority for future events at the sole discretion of Trade'Em Up Expo.

Badge Transfers

Badges may not be transferred, resold, duplicated, or shared without prior written approval from Trade'Em Up Expo.

Badges found to have been transferred without authorization may be revoked without refund.

Event Cancellation by Attendee

If an attendee chooses not to attend for any reason, including but not limited to:

Schedule conflicts
Illness
Transportation issues
Weather affecting personal travel
Family emergencies
Personal circumstances

No refund, exchange, or credit will be provided.

Event Postponement

If Trade'Em Up Expo postpones an event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters
Government restrictions
Public safety concerns
Venue issues
Severe weather
Acts of God
Labor disputes
Emergencies

Purchased badges and vendor spaces will automatically transfer to the rescheduled event date.

Refunds will not be issued solely because an event has been rescheduled.

Event Cancellation by Trade'Em Up Expo

If Trade'Em Up Expo cancels an event and does not reschedule it, purchasers may be offered one or more of the following at the sole discretion of Trade'Em Up Expo:

A full refund
Event credit toward a future Trade'Em Up Expo
Transfer of admission or booth purchase to a future event

Any refund issued will be limited to the original purchase price paid.

Trade'Em Up Expo is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by attendees or vendors, including but not limited to:

Hotel accommodations
Flights
Transportation
Meals
Parking
Shipping costs
Lost profits
Business expenses
Other incidental or consequential damages

Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback after agreeing to this policy may result in:

Cancellation of badges or vendor spaces
Removal from future Trade'Em Up Expo events
Suspension of purchasing privileges
Collection efforts where permitted by law

Trade'Em Up Expo reserves the right to dispute improper chargebacks using purchase records, acceptance of policies, and event registration information.

Merchandise Returns

Unless otherwise required by law:

Merchandise sales are final.
No returns or exchanges are accepted for apparel, collectibles, promotional items, or exclusive event merchandise.

If an item arrives damaged due to shipping, customers must notify Trade'Em Up Expo within 7 calendar days of delivery with photographs of the damage. Replacement requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, subject to product availability.

Tournament Entries

Tournament registration fees are non-refundable once registration has been completed.

Missed tournaments, forfeits, disqualifications, or scheduling conflicts do not qualify for refunds.

Workshops & Special Events

Workshop registrations, autograph sessions, special experiences, and after-party tickets are non-refundable.

If a guest cancels or a session changes, Trade'Em Up Expo may substitute an equivalent experience or provide another remedy at its discretion.

Force Majeure

Trade'Em Up Expo shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, interruptions, or modifications caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Severe weather
Fire
Flood
Pandemic
Government orders
Terrorism
Labor disputes
Utility failures
Internet outages
Venue closures
Public safety emergencies

Acceptance of Policy

By purchasing any badge, vendor space, sponsorship, merchandise, tournament registration, or other product or service from Trade'Em Up Expo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
